Neil
Principal / Drama Tutor
Neil started at The Academy as a volunteer in 2014 and then moved on to assist in acting. He then went onto to become tutor of Topaz group before moving on to becoming one of the singing tutors. He has many years experience in amateur theatre on and off the stage. Neil started performing at the age of 7 and has gone on to be the director and take lead roles in major musicals and pantomime.
In his spare time he is a member of a amateur theatre group 'Westwell Players' near Ashford Neil has 5 children that keep him on his toes!
Neil loves nothing more than being silly and making everyone laugh!
Monika
Singing Tutor
Monika Joined The Academy in 2013. She has trained and gained a BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts.
She is a regular singer / actor / musical theatre performer in local amateur groups and has played many lead roles including one her favourites: Delores Van Cartier in Sister Act the Musical. Monika performs at local events and pubs.
Monika is a fabulous tutor who gets the most from the children.
Kirsty
Dance Tutor
Kirsty has beenTeaching at the Academy on and Off since 2021.
Graduating from Bath Spa University with a BA Hons in Contemporary Dance in 2016, Kirsty has gone on to work freelance for a number of dance schools and has taught junior competition teams. She currently runs her own dance school based in Hythe as well as working with The Academy.
Ellen
Tutor Assistant
Ellen started as a student at The Academy in 2018. She excelled in all 3 disciplines. On leaving school she joined The Academy team as an tutor assistant. Helping out in all classes and playing games with the students. Ellen is an asset to the team.
